Hello! My name is Carrie Hooks and I moved to Ann Arbor from Cleveland with my lovely boyfriend of 3 ½ years, Dave, in Sept. 2011. I was lucky enough to keep my job in marketing for a large bank and now work in my company’s downtown Ann Arbor office. Dave and I absolutely loved Cleveland, but have found that Ann Arbor is a great little town and now we can’t imagine that living anywhere else for the next two years.

I'm a mother to a 20 month old boy, Tejus, and I currently work part time at the business school as the Advertising/Office Manager for the Business School newspaper (The Monroe Street Journal) even though my training is as a nutritionist. We live in a rental house on the Westside with our 8 year old dog, Chaya. I am originally from MN, but was living with my husband, Sanjay - MBA2, in CA for the past 8 years before moving to Ann Arbor. We have just recently accepted an offer to McKinsey's Minneapolis office and will be moving there after graduation this spring.

Hi, my name is Mandy Ward and I moved to Ann Arbor with my husband Jimmy from Chicago, IL. My husband is receiving his dual degree through the Erb Institute (Erbers!), so we are settling in for 3 years in Ann Arbor! I was lucky to receive a job right away in my current position as an ER Residency Coordinator for a nearby hospital in Livonia, MI. Despite being a city girl, Ann Arbor’s charm quickly caught hold of me and I am looking forward to my 3 years here.
